ALBAWABA- Following his recent two-day visit to Jordan to discuss pressing Middle Eastern issues, including the Israeli war on Gaza and bilateral relations with Jordan, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Misha'al Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, paid a state-level visit to Egypt.
In Cairo, he met with the Egyptian president, Abdul Fattah El-Sisi, where both leaders engaged in mutual talks and renewed their commitment to addressing challenges in the Middle East, including the situations in Gaza, Sudan, Libya, and other mutual concerns.
A joint Kuwaiti-Egyptian statement highlighted the robust bilateral relations between the two countries. During the Emir's first official trip to Egypt since taking office, discussions focused on enhancing strategic partnerships, investment, trade, and energy cooperation.
Both leaders stressed the importance of regional stability, advocating for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and a diplomatic resolution to conflicts. Additionally, they addressed water security and maritime boundaries, reaffirming their commitment to respecting each other's sovereignty.
